Agape Center Ministries is governed and shepherded by a plurality of elders, with the physical needs of the church being met by the office of deacons/deaconesses.
JOSHUA ENGLEHART
Pastoral Elder
Joshua is a husband and father of 6. He has been the pastor at Agape Center since him and his wife Julaine planted the church back in 2016. Josh did not attend seminary but has a gift to teach and discern God's word through studying (not just reading) God's word. Being a pastor is more than just speaking for Josh, as he takes his calling as leading his assigned flock seriously, being available and attentive outside of Sunday as well.
RONALD EVANS
Pastoral Elder
Ron grew up in the church of The United Brethren in Christ. Ron has three daughters with his late wife Emma. Ron has since remarried to Betty whom he thanks God for everyday. Ron accomplished four years undergraduate and two of graduate work at Huntington University, and was ordained and served the United Brethren denomination for 28 years before retiring. He also earned a Masters of Divinity. He was installed as an elder of Agape in 2024.
LINDA ASH
DEACONESS
Linda began her walk with Christ as a teenager. This led her to be on a Bible Quiz Team in high school which traveled all over Hillsdale County. The Bible Quiz Team developed her love for being in the Word and growing in Him. She had the opportunity to go to Israel for ten days walking where Jesus walked and it was a life changing experience. Linda enjoys working in children's ministry helping the children to find excitement in learning about Jesus and growing in Him. Her desire is to be available to serve wherever God leads.
